Sean Sovacool in the Washington Times
My cousin, Sean Sovacool, went to D.C. to participate in the annual "March for Life" with his high school. He got interviewed, and I was so excited that he got to share his thoughts. His voice is heard right at the start of the video. I am so proud of him for being fearless and outspoken. Most people at his age are not as bold as he is.
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute." Proverbs 31:8
New beginnings...
So far, 2013 has been awesome. The year has carried itself on a positive note, and I'm doing my best to keep my mind set that way.
I do not like making New year's resolutions... Mostly because I am not good at finishing things and feel guilty when I do not keep them. But I hate the idea that we often put in our minds about a new year being a reset button. It's a silly frame of mind that can be adjusted at any moment.
This year I didn't have a vision for my "new self" before the ball dropped. But as the fresh days of 2013 carried on, I did think of ways that I have wanted to improve myself.

- A huge focus I have for this year is working hard to be well-rounded.
- I am cutting out a lot of my computer time. Taking mostly online classes does add to my time on the computer, but I am always checking Pinterest. I would love to spent only 2 hours of my day online so I can leave space for other responsibilities.
- I love to read, and have an awful habit of starting 5 books at a time and never finishing them.. Then, I will get excited about other books.. And buy more. So there are about 30+ books on my shelf that I have not finished or even started. In 2013, I am spending a lot of my free time reading. I am trying to break out of my "self-help" book addiction and move on to novels. Plus, thats what the bible is for anyways.
- On Mondays through Saturdays, I am making To Do Lists to keep me on task. Sunday is designated to be lazy day. It is the Sabbath, after all. I never knew how to "keep the Sabbath" because I always had something to do... Plus, putting off school work until Sunday is the norm. Well, not anymore for me.
- I think that fitness is very important, but unlike my boyfriend I am not a nazi about it. I am going to do cardio 3 times a week minimum, and then squeeze in more when I am free. I am going to do my arm routine 4 times a week minimum.

You Can Lose Your Salvation: Bible Evidence
This is a touchy subject. I am not going to write a lot of stuff about this topic. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer to the best of my ability. But throughout 2011 and 2012... every time I found a verse that spoke of the ability to lose salvation I would add it to my list of verses. These are the verses I have found.
"Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." Mark 13:13
"On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness'." Matthew 7:22-23
"Repent, all of you who forget me,
or I will tear you apart,
and no one will help you." Psalm 50:22
"My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins" James 5:19-20
"Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. (*blaspheming reference) For we know the one who said,“I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The Lord will judge his own people.” It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Hebrews 10:26-31
"And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. Hebrews 10:38-39
“I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences.” Mark 3:28-29
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
*Remember that believe is an action. Therefore, you must continue believing to have eternal life. If I breathe just once in my life, I won't keep breathing and then live from that one breath of air.
"You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror." James 2:19
